A Fundraiser for Chromosome 18 Research
There was a bit of a thaw in the Polar Vortex on Sunday, February 23 with the warmth of family and friends gathering together to participate in Noah’s Bowl for 18 – a fundraiser to raise money for Chromosome 18 research. The fundraiser’s namesake, Noah Banton, hosted an afternoon of bowling for over 200 people at Prime Time Bowling in Burlington.
“Our family was overwhelmed by the generous support of family and friends and even good Samaritans who gave from their hearts,” says Natalie Banton, Noah’s mother. “It was such an incredible day. We are truly blessed to have such an incredible support network.”
Friends and family of the TQS Transformation team also participated in the event to support their life-long friend Noah. During the summer, our Lifestyle Coach, Cameron Mattice, trained three young athletes, Mississauga North Baseball players, for a total of 19 community hours.
“TQS Transformation is committed to working within the community to achieve our mandate: ‘To create, promote, develop and foster community spirit’ as well as raise awareness of the benefits of a healthier lifestyle,” explains Chris Mattice, CEO - President of 3PL Quality Systems Inc. “TQS Transformation hopes to make a positive difference in people’s lives by reaching out to the community and assisting chosen organizations through mentoring and awareness campaigns, as well as foster an environment for people to share their journey. We are honored to be part of Noah’s journey and applaud his leadership, personal commitments in support of the Chromosome 18 Registry & Research Society.”
